Top Chefs at Beaupré

The Chateau de Beaupré will host a Top Chef dinner on Monday September 12, 2011 at 8 pm.

Three chefs,  Hermance Carro of the Relais in Seillans, Var www.restaurant-seillans.com , Ludovic Turac of Une Table au Sud in Marseille www.unetableausud.com and Stéphanie Le Quellec from Faventia at the Four Seasons in Tourettes, Var www.terre-blanche.com, will be on hand to create a very special dinner that pairs well with a selection of millesime fine wines. The bastide known as Chateau de Beaupré was built in 1739 in Saint Cannat just north of Aix-en-Provence. The Double family who resided in Marseille acquired the bastide and surrounding grounds in 1854. They used the property as a relay for the horses when they left their Marseille home to vacation in the Luberon.The Baron Double and his wife Marie Jeanne are the 4th generation to produce AOC Côteaux d'Aix en Provence wines.
