Tous au Restaurant

Tous au Restaurant literally means "Everyone to the Restaurant".

Alain Ducasse is the man behind this reduced price scheme which is intended to introduce fine cuisine to a larger audience. The program was launched in 2010 and the event,  which ran for a week in June, attracted almost 1000 participating restaurants and over 82 000 people made reservations to take advantage of the special price offer.

This year the program runs from September 19th - 25th  with top restaurants across France offering special deals. In Valence chef Anne Sophie Pic who obtained 3 stars in the Michelin Guide in 2007 is offering a lunch menu for 2 at 57 euros at Bistro 7. Marseille chef Gerard Passedat of Le Petit Nice, also 3 stars in the Michelin Guide in 2010, is offering a 100 euros lunch menu for 2 people.
The other restaurants located in Provence that are participating are Alain Ducasse’s La Bastide de Moustiers in Moustiers Sainte Marie, Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de la Celle in La Celle and Restaurant Marc de Passorio in St. Rémy de Provence.

Reservations can be made online starting September 7th at 10 a.m. French time.
